7 AM. The little nemesis jumped into my bed. Waky waky Mr. Alex. Ah, kids are so cute.

By 8:30 we were already in Santa Clara University's Mission Church. The church looked very nice, the mass was so, so. My wife initially wanted to get us to Croatian church, but we were a bit late. I preferred trying out Mission church anyhow. I've nothing against Croatian churches. It's just that some church goers there, and well, some priests, sometimes put too much politics into religion. That's all. I don't have particular church in mind here. Just generalizing about outside of Croatia Croatian churches. Majority of people there are OK. It's just some people, some times. Enough for me to prefer to spend my two maybe three yearly visits to the holly places somewhere else. Same goes to the Serbian Orthodox church.

After we got home, there was this gorgeous breakfast. You know, Easter stuff. Ham in bread, eggs (coloured, of course), horse radish, onions, ... I've a feeling, after all those onions, I'm going to smell tomorrow at work ;-)

One more egg hunt for Noah, and off we went to the beach. As planned. Except, egg hunt was at home, not on the beach. The weather on the Pacific coast was finally sunny, and we really enjoyed it. There was this small beach cramped between almost vertical cliffs. It's somewhere between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay. We saw it once when driving by, and decided to check it out today.

The waves were huge. But for whatever reason there were no surfers there. We saw bunch of them on beaches around Half Moon Bay where the waves were, well, pathetic in size. Compared to the beach where we went. Hm, strange. I don't know much about surfing, and maybe that beach isn't a good place to surf for whatever reason. We saw two surfers going to the beach at the end of the day, when we were already on our way to the car.

We got home, dinner, put Noah to bed, write new blog entry, and the rest is history...

All in all, an great weekend. I wish every weekend was like this one.
